City Guide for New Traveller

City Guide for New TravellerPlanning a holiday abroad is one of the dreams of most people including myself, and perhaps we envision a vacation to exotic places like the beach or resort, or maybe a vacation to the city while enjoying the beauty of the city. Apart from a vacation we can also know the customs and culture of the city we visit.
Many questions spinning in my head, before I decided to visit one of the destinations we will visit. Can we enjoy the atmosphere in the city? How expensive city life there? Where what I would visit the city and many other things that kept popping up in my head. I tried looking for information via the Internet the things we have to prepare and to note if we are planning a vacation to a city abroad. What I get like this:

1. Of course we will choose the city we visit on vacation
2. City guide that we will visit, including cheap tickets, favorite places, lodging, transportation used, where food or cafes and so forth.
3. Is there an embassy in our country where we can contact if anything happens when we vacation there?
4. Map of the city we will visit. This will be very useful if at the time we explore the city, although now we can go to maps via a laptop or cell phone.
4. Check our passports, whether valid or not.
5. And lastly check our savings, is it enough if we are on vacation in the city.

When surfing the internet I imagine a vacation in the city of London and is one of the old city in Europe.

I will share my information what I get:

The city is filled with luxury hotels, luxury clubs, theaters, museums and attractions, and some places in the world’s most exclusive shopping. There are palaces, architectural landmarks, bridges, towers, and much more to see that can not be seen elsewhere in the world. The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, North London is one of the most luxurious residential areas, and also known as Millionaires Row (or Billionaires Row).

We will find five-star restaurants, small cinemas, nightclubs, and more. In the downtown area you will find many luxury hotels such as Sofitel St James London, close to Buckingham Palace. Saville Row is also in the area, which is where you will find many upscale shops and men’s tailor shops high end shopping from designers such as Burberry, Alexander McQueen, and more.

Many tourists flock to tour the Tower of London, which has a history going back more than 900 years. Tower Bridge provides a great view of the city, and the Victoria & Albert Museum contains artifacts from all over much of the world’s oldest cultures.

And of course we can find the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum’s famous, home to hundreds of life like statue of royalty, celebrities, and others. Since the days of William Shakespeare, the city has a theater that can be enjoyed throughout the city, so we can take part in one of the many musicals and plays are shown regularly in theaters like the Globe Theatre town.

For culinary, London is a good city that will direct us to places most famous for eating in the city. Claridges is home to chef Gordon Ramsay, famous for its cooking, and eat at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester will be fun, combining world-class chefs with hotels that are well known to the main tourist experience. Those looking for a hot night life will enjoy Trafalgar Square, which is home to many nightclubs, restaurants, theaters, and museums.
